Music
The IWU Choral commission Series, the oldest collegiate commission series in the United States, which is sponsored by Delta Omicron, Sigma chapter and DO chapter advisor, Sylvia Monti Anderson, has added many significant works to the choral repertoire and resulted in a number of important world premiers at Illinois Wesleyan.
Sigma Chapter began sponsoring the commission in 1970 and has helped the series continue and grow through financial support. The following is a list of IWU Choral Commissions made possible by Sigma Chapter contributions.
